Meet Cookie -- mama of the Christmas Cookies litter! This sweet mama came from a dire situation, where her life was being threatened. Animal control stepped in and worked to find a rescue to save her. She and her 7 babies are with us now, happy, healthy and loved. We're so glad we could get her out of that horrible place -- and now it is time to find loving forever homes for her and all of her babies. She is such a sweet, grateful girl. Cookie's puppies are weaned now and she'll be spayed soon and ready for her forever family to find her. She is sweet with all people and seems to get along find with other dogs and cats. She has not had any house breaking accidents in the puppy house or kennel. She is petite -- although she weighed 37 lbs at the vet the other day, we had been estimating her weight to be 28-32 lbs because she looks smaller. Although the vet estimated her to be about 2, she acts younger and we believe this was her first litter of puppies. So maybe she is closer to 18 months -- we can't know for sure. Cookie loves people and plays great with other dogs. We think she would be great with children as well. She's such a sweetheart.
