Meet Howie! 🌟 This charming 8-month-old bundle of joy is a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix, with a sweet dad who was a Chocolate Labrador and a beautiful mom who was a white German Shepherd. Imagine being a puppy whose parents were outdoor dogs in Arkansas, left to fend for themselves, unwanted and unloved. 😢 Luckily, a good Samaritan found Howie and his siblings while they were underweight and battling worms. They were taken to a loving foster home, then into the care of Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue to find their forever homes. 🏡 Now, Howie is gaining weight and feeling better while waiting for that special family to come along! ❤️ He’s a friendly and playful pup, eagerly anticipating his first indoor adventures—snuggling on the couch and experiencing the warmth of love! ☁️ This social boy is great with other dogs, but he hasn’t met any cats yet. Howie is food motivated, which means he should pick up house training like a pro! 🥳 Before Howie makes his big move from Arkansas, he will be UTD on vaccines, heartworm tested, and neutered. The process couldn’t be smoother! But here’s the thing: while Howie is looking for a foster-to-adopt family, there’s always a chance he might not be available by the time you’re ready to bring him home.
