River was found with her sister (now adopted - yay!) by a woman and her son in San Antonio. They had been caring for them outdoors, taming them until she heard that a big freeze was coming. Quickly, River found a lot of joy and excitement in being around people. She has started leash training, and that is going well, she is incredibly smart. She is very athletic and can scale a 6ft fence so this would be a consideration in adopting her. This energetic girl would suit an outdoorsy and active family to give her the attention and exercise she needs.
