Meet Bart! Born March 2022, he is a male Blackmouth Cur mix (best guess on breed). This sweet boy had an accident and found himself needing a rear leg amputation. His family couldn’t take care of him and so he ended up with Mikeys Chance. Bart is crate trained and housebroken. He’s a great snuggle companion-although he doesn’t always realize his size! 😂 His favorite thing in life is to be as close to his people as possible - if you adopt Bart, you will NEVER be alone again. & three legs do not slow this guy down - he loves to explore outside, go for leisurely walks, or lounge in a backyard. Bart also gets along with other dogs (but males should be on the submissive side), but we do not recommend cats. Bart’s best fit home would be one with minimal to no stairs to keep stress low on him remaining legs, & we always recommend, if there are children in the home, children be over age 5 because they can better understand how to be respectful of dogs.
