*Must be adopted with Bono or into a home with a young and playful cat* This gorgeous tortie girl is sweet and loving and has a very loud purr-motor which she happily revs up whenever her favorite humans start petting her. Calliope also has her playful side - especially when a feather wand toy or laser pointer comes her way. She is most attracted to toys that have a human at the other end and will reward your playful overtures with a delighted response! Calliope is a wonderfully considerate housemate. She doesn't jump on kitchen counters or dining room tables, won't wake you in the middle of the night, and will patiently wait until close to your usual wake-up time before greeting you in bed; politely, of course. Calliope gets along beautifully with the other cats in her foster home, but she especially enjoys the company of her favorite feline, the magnificent Bono (a sleek all-black charmer), who shares her calm outlook on life. Although Calliope and Bono are not related, out of the 12 other cats in their foster home, they gravitated towards each other and love to share the same chair for cuddles and snoozing. Although Calliope would love to be adopted together with her buddy Bono, she would also do well as a solo adoption to a home with a gentle resident cat. Calliope is 7 months old and has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
