Reese is an 11 month old German Shepherd mix who was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. All of the staff agrees (don’t tell the other dogs) that she is one of the most absolutely beautiful girls we have ever seen! She has the beautiful look of the Husky and German Shepherd mix that she is! Due to that mixture and her age, she is high-energy pup! She has an initially rough play style but does settle quickly. She is also initially hesitant with new people, but once she overcomes that fear, she is the sweetest lover girl you will EVER meet. If you’re looking for an athletic companion, Reese would be perfect. Reese would do well in most homes. She would do okay with a dog savvy feline friend. If there is a dog already in the home, a dog intro would be required. Everyone in the home would need to meet Reese before she could go home.
