Hi, I’m Shinji! I’m a 43-lb Pit mix with the sweetest heart, the cutest face, and a head tilt that seems to make everyone smile. I was returned to ACS due to my family moving, and now I’m hoping my next stop is my forever home. I’m kid friendly and full of happy, excitable energy, but I also have a gentle, sensitive side. I am dog friendly and love to wrestle and play, and I’m really good at taking corrections from other dogs if I come on a little too strong — I just want to have fun and make friends. I’m submissive and a little fearful around cats, so I’d need slow, thoughtful introductions there. I do have some separation anxiety because I love my people so much, but ACS has a trainer who can help you navigate and manage that — and the team is always here to support you. I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, and I’m ready to find a home where I can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
