Meet William #18006 He’s had to fight for his life on the streets. Now, at ten years old, William can finally take a breath, be warm, and never worry about starving again. Since his rescue, William has been through so much. He’s had two major surgeries—eye surgery and a dental. He lost one eye and had entropion surgery on the other. His dental left him with just two teeth. William also tested positive for FIV, but he can still live a long, healthy, and happy life. Despite everything, this boy’s spirit is unstoppable. William loves to play with his mouse toys and soak up all the pets he can get. He’s learning to let go of the fear that food might disappear—no more surviving, just living. Every day, he waits for me by the foster room door, ready for attention and love. William will do best as the only pet in the home. He continues to settle in more each day, clearly enjoying the good life he fought so hard to reach.
