About Carol
Carol is a one-and-a-half-year-old grey tabby and white cat with a gentle, resilient nature. After surviving a difficult illness when she first arrived, Carol has regained her strength and continues to show her playful side and deep affection for people. Though she has very limited vision and a soft, persistent wheeze due to past illness, she’s undeterred—she quickly learns her environment and moves about confidently. Carol loves affection, enjoys exploring, and thrives in calm routines. She has Feline Herpes Virus (FHV), a common feline condition. This doesn’t stop her from living a full life, but she’ll need a stable, low-stress home to help minimize flare-ups and keep her comfortable. Carol will require lifelong vet support, and the rescue team is ready to guide her adopter through her ongoing care. She can live with other cats, provided they are not immunocompromised, and would do best with gentle feline companions and patient humans. Carol is seeking a foster-to-adopt family who will look past her medical needs and appreciate the loving, sweet companion she truly is. Start your journey together! Apply now.
