About Riley

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Riley is a loving 3-year-old Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix looking for her perfect match. Born in Show Low, Arizona and adopted at six months old, Riley has lived with a family who has given her a strong foundation. She is incredibly smart, obedient, and affectionate, thriving most in the company of adults and forming deep bonds with her people. Riley is leash trained, crate trained, and rides calmly in the car. Her ideal days are filled with walks, games of fetch, playtime with her toys, and snuggling up for cuddles while "dog TV" is on. She knows an impressive variety of commands including sit, lay down, come, stop, leave it, drop it, shake, up, off, and look, and her eagerness to please makes training a breeze. While Riley can be shy and cautious at first, her playful and loving personality shines through once she feels secure. She is protective of her home and can be anxious in busy or unpredictable surroundings, making her best suited for a calm, adult-only household without cats, and ideally as the only dog. Due to increased anxiety from a new baby in her current home, Riley needs a patient adopter who can provide her with structure and understanding. With the right environment, she'll prove to be a loyal and loving companion. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
