About Valentinefresno Ca
Meet Valentine (Val for short), a Dalmatian in San Diego, CA, who is about three years old and weighs around 53 lbs. Val’s early days in the shelter left her scared and unsure, but now that she’s in foster care, her true personality is emerging. She’s still shy and timid, but you immediately sense her sweetness. With the company of another Dalmatian in her foster home, Val is learning that she can relax and trust her environment. Cuddling on the couch and soaking in the sun have quickly become her favorite ways to spend the day. She’s also figuring out that toys can be fun. Val will do best with a patient adopter who can take things slow and let her warm up on her own terms. She needs understanding and time to adjust to new experiences. She’s house trained, gets along with other dogs, and is spayed and vaccinated. Her experience with cats and children is still unknown, but her gentle nature comes through.
