About Baguette
Meet Baguette. This lively French Bulldog arrived from another shelter after a tough start, having been found as a stray and brought in with several health issues. He'd spent time isolated due to kennel stress and was on anxiety medication, but has since been weaned off and his spirits have clearly lifted. His background suggests he may have been left outdoors, given the healing fly bites on his ears, corneal scarring on his left eye, some scrapes, and low weight. At the shelter, his skin looks much better and he’s put on weight, but ongoing GI issues remain — he’s currently getting special veterinary attention including steroidal therapy, and a biopsy may be in his future if things don’t resolve. Despite these hurdles, Baguette is an energetic, upbeat little guy who’s always with the staff or playing around. He likes to gently nibble on fingers, keeps everyone entertained with his clownish personality, and has shown he gets along with other dogs and children. Baguette isn’t yet available until his ongoing medical situation is clearer and a stable plan is in place, but he’s already made it obvious that there’s no shortage of joy once he's feeling good. Fun fact: With a birthday of December 26, this Capricorn pup is resilient and determined, living up to his zodiac sign. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
