Scared and unsure, he wouldn't approach, instead finding safety where he could — navigating canyons known for coyotes and bobcats, crossing four lanes of traffic to reach a shopping center for food, and curling up at night on outdoor patio cushions just to rest. For over a week, the community watched and tried to help while he stayed just out of reach. But once he was finally secured, everything changed. It was immediately clear — this little guy has known love before. Beneath the fear was a friendly, gentle soul... just a bit unsure of the world. When no one came looking for him, we gave him a safe place to land — and the chance to start his next chapter.
