About Georgie
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Georgie is a remarkable FIP survivor with a unique spirit. Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a challenging disease, but thanks to modern antivirals, Georgie has overcome the odds, completing his treatment for the 'wet' form of FIP between November 2025 and February 2026. Now, this handsome brown tabby is thriving at The Scratching Post. He has made incredible progress—from a shy cat who avoided attention and hid while eating, to a more confident feline who lights up at mealtime. Georgie is still cautious with strangers, but he has learned to trust through positive experiences, especially if treats are involved. His charming caracal ear tufts and expressive eyes let you know when he wants attention or snacks. As a Taurus, Georgie is steady, food-motivated, and shows remarkable resilience, fitting traits for this zodiac sign. If you're patient and have a big heart, Georgie could be the special companion you've been hoping for. This sweet boy is ready for his forever home at The Scratching Post.
