About Zeke
Zeke is a one-and-a-half-year-old bundle of energy packed into a medium-sized, 40-pound frame, living in Oswego, NY. He lands somewhere between Doberman, Rottweiler, Shepherd, Hound—and could probably keep up with any of them when it comes to activity. Zeke is everything you want in an adventure partner: playful, goofy, smart, and never one to turn down a hike, a yard sprint, or a training session. His favorite things are snuggling under blankets, sneaking onto the bed, and generally making sure you know he belongs smack in the middle of the family. He’s house trained, crate trained, quick to pick up commands, and food-motivated. Zeke comes with some habits you’ll want to shape—he jumps up when excited, needs to be kept away from squishy toys and favorite stuffed animals, and is still learning what cats expect from him. He’d do best in a home with a fenced yard and active people, especially those with older kids, since his greetings are a bit enthusiastic. He gets along great with other dogs, does well with kids, and just wants to be part of daily life. He’s vocal, always tells you how he feels, but is never mean-spirited. Zeke is a young, exuberant dog who will thrive with someone who enjoys structure, exercise, training, and lots of cuddles. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
