Rollie
AvailableRollie is a male Cocker Spaniel in Westminster, MD. He’s an adult, medium-sized dog who is neutered and house trained. Rollie is vaccinated and accustomed to living with cats. He does have special needs: a neurological condition that affects his movement and glaucoma, managed with medication. He’s looking for a safe, understanding home.
About Rollie
Rollie had to leave his home when his owner moved, but he’s looking for his next chapter. Rollie is special needs: he has a neurological condition that causes him to walk and run in circles, especially when he’s anxious or excited. When he really focuses, he can walk straight, but circling is his normal. Rollie also has glaucoma; his right eye was removed and he receives drops in his left. He is house trained and crate trained. Rollie is used to living with cats and is reported to get along with other dogs. He enjoys toys, swimming, and exploring. Because a leash can be tricky for him, he’ll need a home with a secure fenced yard to keep him safe—he might trip someone holding the leash otherwise. Rollie’s currently being looked after by a caring vet, making sure he’s healthy and comfortable. He’ll be happiest with adopters ready to embrace his quirks and keep up with his routine. Give this one-of-a-kind spaniel a shot at happiness. Every animal deserves a chance to be cherished again. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
