About Garth

Make their next chapter their best one yet. It can be a challenge to capture just how adorable and loving kittens are, especially when describing a whole litter—after all, they are all irresistibly sweet! This particular litter, inspired by country music legends, came to Little Orphans Animal Rescue in the nick of time during a cold spell, after being cared for outdoors by a family who had to move. Thankfully, the entire group—including their devoted Mama, Reba—found warmth and safety at the shelter. All of these kitties are loving and very social, including with children, and they’re immensely grateful for their cozy new setting. Stories like theirs remind us of the importance of spay/neuter programs; this group is scheduled for their own procedures soon. Garth is the "big brother" in his litter and is a natural protector, often providing comfort and security to his siblings. When the kittens first arrived, his siblings would huddle under him, and today he still leads cuddle sessions. Garth is a handsome light beige/orange (buff) tabby with exceptionally soft fur—perfect for anyone who loves to pet a silky kitten. He is sweet, affectionate, and ready to join a loving family, ideally with one of his siblings or another similarly aged kitten. Please note: your home must have a feline companion under one year old for Garth to be considered, as the shelter will not approve single-kitten adoptions for this age. This ensures your new kitten has a buddy, which improves both cats' lives and prevents typical single-kitten problems. If adopting two kittens isn't an option, please consider an older cat instead. Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
