About Canela
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Canela is a lovable French Mastiff with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. Although she weighs in at approximately 120 lbs, she's convinced she's a lap dog and is always happiest snuggled up with her family. Rescued in early 2020, Canela is around 7 years old, but she still has plenty of youthful spirit and enthusiasm for life. She thrives on companionship, whether it's joining you for a relaxing day at home, taking a leisurely walk, or enjoying her favorite pastime—riding in the car. Hot summer days aren't her favorite, but give her a cool floor and a fan, and she's content. Canela is potty trained, knows how to 'sit' beautifully, and has been spayed. She's famously friendly and gets along with kids, seniors, other dogs, and even cats. Her favorite things include soft jerky treats (especially beef!), trips to the pet store, dining at dog-friendly restaurants, and cuddling on the couch. Due to a change in her family's circumstances, Canela is searching for a loving new home where she'll be cherished and spoiled. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate, and well-mannered companion, Canela would love to join your adventures and be part of your family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
