Meet Doc! (DOB September 2024). This sweet boy came to us as a teeny tiny puppy, he and his siblings were dumped on a dirt road in a box that was unfortunately run over and one of the puppies didn't make it. We scooped them up to safety as soon as we were alerted to the situation, and thankfully tiny Doc found a loving foster home to take him in and teach him all the things about being a dog! Doc was adopted in the Spring of 2025, but unfortunately he did not get along with the male dogs in the home (through no fault of his adopter or the other dogs--it just didn't work out!) and had to come back to us for everyone's safety. Doc hasn't had the easiest time adjusting to being at the Sanctuary, and we would love to find him his forever place in the world! It's hard to believe he was once such a tiny thing, because now he has grown to be such a big boy! Doc can be a little bit shy when he first meets you, but warms up quickly and is all snuggles and tail wags! Doc loves to play, run around, and snuggle! Although he didn't like the boy pups in his previous home, he has gotten along extremely well with female dogs! He is just a ladies' man it turns out, and that's okay!
