Meet Harley This gorgeous 7 month old Cane Corso found herself with our rescue when her owner couldn’t manage her medical needs. The good Harley is housebroken, leash trained, knows many commands, absolutely loves people, dogs, cats (likes people a little too much)and really thinks she’s a lap dog. Would do best in a home with another dog unless her new adopters are home 24/7. Harley has separation anxiety And has had some trauma in her life with crate training so that is going to be a work in progress that may never happen thus would be best for her to be in a home that someone is home most of the time. The bad Harley has epilepsy. Unfortunately a monthly oral preventative triggered a series of seizures and Harley will need maintenance medication for the rest of her life. The good thing is Harley is very easy to medicate and her medications are fairly inexpensive. However this is not something to be negotiated, it’s a daily commitment twice a day. We need to be very clear this will be life long commitment to her medical needs.
