About Joy
Joy lives up to her name. At six years old, this calico knows how to brighten a room. She’s equal parts curious and affectionate, happiest when she’s near you—whether she’s watching the world go by, curling up for a cuddle, or launching herself down her tunnel after string toys (it truly is a sight worth catching). Joy isn’t clingy, but she does like companionship. She was surrendered when her owner wasn’t able to keep up with her diabetic care. Since coming into rescue, Joy has adjusted well. Her diabetes is well managed with twice daily insulin, which she takes without fuss, and her overall health is steady. For an adopter, ongoing vet care is key, but the rescue will help with expenses and support. Joy gets along with children, making her a real family-friendly cat, and she’s ready for a stable, loving home that will continue her routine and provide some warmth and playtime. Give this calico a chance—she'll show you just how rewarding adopting a special kitty can be. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
