He weighs 9 lbs. This sweet and wicked smart boy came from a bad situation. He was locked in a kennel with other dogs all day. The other dogs were mean to him and didn’t allow him to eat. He clearly had very little human contact, so he is scared at first, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up. It does take him a little longer with men. Boston is so loving! He just wants to be with you and cuddle. He doesn't like to be left alone in his kennel, but his foster mom leaves him in his kennel during small trips and he's learning that she'll come back and he will not be in there long. Boston likes to cuddle in the bed at night and sleeps all night. He never tries to run out the house but the yard is another story. If you do not go outside with him, he will look for a way to escape. Boston has doggie friends of all sizes and loves cats too. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
