About Lids
Lids needs a new home as soon as possible. His adopter can no longer care for him due to unexpected health problems, and this affectionate, energetic three-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix is seeking another shot at a stable, loving life. At 75 pounds, heās a strong, playful presenceāgreat with people of all ages, though older kids are a better match because of his high energy. Lids loves to cuddle and is eager for affection, but he thrives with structure and activity. He gets along well with other dogs provided introductions are supervised. He does show some resource guarding around food, so feeding should be managed separately if thereās another dog in the house. Cats arenāt a good fit for Lids. Heās housebroken and already knows several commands such as 'sit', 'down', 'off', 'high five', and 'come', though his leash skills need work. Lids will do best with a patient, active adopter who enjoys hikes, runs, or activities like agility. A friendly, playful dog companion is welcome, but not required. Lids is in Paramus, NJ and is looking for a family ready to give him the time and commitment he deserves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
