Now he's adjusting to a better life in foster care, where routine and security are new but welcome. Dakota is all husky: smart, talkative, athletic, and always curious. His fosterāa seasoned husky personāreports he thrives on long, adventurous walks. Dakota isnāt one for slow strolls; he needs space, variety, and new sights. His zig-zagging exploration has earned him the nickname āZiggy Stardust,ā because his bursts of energy are matched by his laid-back shade breaks. On walks, Dakota pays close attention to everything around him, soaking up every sound and smell. At home, heās begun to open up and become more relaxed and playful, especially with his husky foster sister. The two keep up a growing chorus of "husky talk," and his real character is coming through day by day. Dakota is affectionate, silly, and loving with people.
