Hi my name is Dixie! I am 8 years old, 45lbs, and a heeler/hound mix. I was rescued from NM where I was set to be euthanized simply for taking up space. I made the journey here and am now looking for my forever people. I am a sweet girl and enjoy being around people. I would do best as the only dog in the home. I am active and enjoy exploring, which would make me the perfect adventure or hiking partner. I do well on leash, am housetrained, and am excited to find my forever people!
