Soldier is a true survivor with the softest soul. He came to us straight from the streets with a large wound on the back of his neck that took a long time (and a lot of patience, meds, and love) to heal. Through it all, Soldier never lost his gentle spirit — and now he’s healthy, comfortable, and ready for his forever home. This sweet boy is about 6 years old and FIV+, and he couldn’t be more polite or easygoing. Soldier gets along wonderfully with other cats and has a calm, peaceful presence about him. He enjoys spending his days perched up high, quietly observing everything like the watchful guardian he is, especially when he can soak up some warm sunbeams. When it’s time for food or affection, he’s always happy to come down and soak up the love. Soldier is truly one of those special cats who just wants a safe place, a sunny spot, and a human to love. He has so much affection to give and will make an incredibly loyal, gentle companion.
