Cinder was originally found living in a warehouse and was trapped with the intent to fix and release her. Once we realized she had some friendly qualities, we decided to give her a chance. At first, she was very scared and acted defensively, which was completely understandable given her past. She spent two weeks in a cage where she could feel safe and decompress, and after that was given access to an entire room. That’s when her transformation truly began. Cinder blossomed into an absolute lovebug. She just needed time to trust her environment and the people caring for her. Now she plays, purrs constantly, and loves curling up in laps. She truly enjoys being with her humans and makes a wonderful, affectionate companion. Cinder will thrive in a patient, understanding home that allows her the time she may need to decompress and settle in. Once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. She would be perfectly happy as an only cat, but with proper introductions, she may also do well with other cats. She is currently exposed to them through a tall baby gate in her foster home and is doing well.
