About Fuego
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Fuego has found himself back at the shelter through no fault of his own, after his family downsized and had to move out of state, surrendering two of their three dogs. His former housemate Rose is also at the shelter and looking for her own home. This big, beefy guy has so much to offer: he's crate trained, housebroken, friendly with kids and other dogs. Fuego does pull a bit on leash, but that's an easy fix with some positive reinforcement. His play style is enthusiastic and energetic—he loves to go hard and fast before sprawling out happily across the floor with the biggest smile on his face. Although he might guard his crate from strangers at home and shows a bit of barrier reactivity at the shelter, Fuego is a true charmer when out of his kennel. Give him a chance to show his loving side outside of the shelter environment; you won't be disappointed. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
