Meet Tank! Tank is a young Great Dane with a heart just as big as his paws. He hasn’t had the easiest start in life (he came to us through our Animal Law Enforcement team in rough shape), but despite everything he’s been through, Tank’s spirit shines. This big guy is a fun, goofy puppy who loves to be silly and soak up attention. He’s still learning his manners and would benefit from continued training, especially as he grows into his giant frame. Tank is considered special needs and is looking for a truly special home. He has visual and hearing impairments, along with significant orthopedic disease affecting his legs. He will require ongoing, lifelong veterinary care and a family committed to helping him live his best, most comfortable life. He’s open to meeting savvy kids who understand how to safely interact with a large, bouncy dog, and he may do well with calm canine companions who respect his space and mobility needs. Tank may need a little more - but he gives a whole lot back. For the right person, he’ll be an incredibly loyal, loving friend and a daily reminder of resilience, joy, and unconditional love.
