Meet Monty!! Monty is a cute little man weighing in at 18 lbs. and 2 years old. He is a genuine mutt!! His coat is a beautiful auburn color making him look very unique! Monty was out running in the streets with 2 larger dogs at an apartment complex. The 2 larger dogs were rescued, and Monty was at risk of being alone, so he came to join us at the rescue. Thank goodness he had a Good Samaritan looking out for him! He was very relieved to be rescued! Monty really enjoys the company of dogs, and he is definitely a little shy to start. He also seems to have a female owner preference and a bit nervous of men. We assume he had a bad experience with a man😓 He is crate trained and potty trained. Walks well with a harness. He is happiest just to hang with his people, with whatever they choose to do. He could definitely be with older, polite children. He’s just a sweet, playful guy that will be the perfect companion for anyone willing to be patient with him.
