About Hilda
Meet Hilda 🤍 This remarkable girl has blossomed beautifully in her foster homes and is ready to steal your heart! Despite her tough start as a street dog, she's shown an incredible capacity for love and trust. She's estimated to be 3-4 years old. Hilda is a sweet, quiet girl who just needs a little time to feel safe. She’s shy at first but does well with dogs, cats, and calm or older kids. Hilda is 3–4 years old, spayed, fully grown (medium-sized), kennel trained, potty trained, and wonderfully low-key. She loves pets and snuggles and frequently seeks out affection. With a patient home that understands decompression and slow introductions, she will absolutely shine. What She Needs: She's still learning that home is a safe place to stay. She'll need a securely fenced yard (at least 6 feet with reinforced gates) and an adopter committed to helping her understand she never has to survive on her own again. Because she can be a bit shy, she'll thrive best in a child-free home or with older, calm children (13+) who understand how to give her space and let her approach on her own terms. With patience and consistency, she'll learn that the good life is here to stay! Perfect for: Someone looking for a loving, affectionate companion who's willing to provide structure, security, and a calm environment while this sweet girl continues her journey from street survivor to beloved family member. To schedule a meet and greet, please send an inquiry and fill out an adoption application, which can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org/adopt Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run. Please keep in mind that we select the best-qualified applicants based on the needs of both the dog and the applicant.
