THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE OF OUR KENNEL IN WOBURN, MA. IT IS OUR GOAL TO GET ALL LOCAL DOGS TO THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES WITHIN 7 DAYS ONCE MATCHED. **Please read Tito Mellon Hugo Hero's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Tito Mellon Hugo Hero (or Tito for short) is a 9-month-old, English Foxhound mix, who weighs 50 pounds (as of 2/4/26). This darling pup left that unpredictable stray life in Tennessee behind and eventually found his way to New England! While he'll always love and appreciate his previous home, Tito prefers to live in a home that's cat-free. No hard feelings kitties! When Tito isn't snuggling his way into your heart (literally), his favorite activities include zoomies, running through the woods, playing tug, chewing on his toys and unknotting short ropes. What? He's a Dog Scout-in-training! While he currently lives inside, he has access to a fenced yard. This energetic boy gets along with everyone he meets: men, women, even teenagers (which is saying a lot!). Because of Tito's playful energy, he'd be best with active families who have older kids (middle school and up) that can keep up with him. Tito's not a fan of staying home alone for long periods of time, so bonus points if you're at home living the hermit life! Since he's still young, Tito has been undergoing obedience training and knows commands like "sit, no, come, let's go, and wait!" He'll need extra patience from his future family as he gets excited and might use his mouth to get your attention. Tito is super motivated by food (especially chicken and peanut butter so bribes might be the way to go to help this pup learn positive behaviors!) While Tito is housebroken, he'll still need a little more help adjusting to potty training once he finds his fur-ever home and asks that his future family has some understanding. He's not a fan of car rides and gets car sick, but let's be real, we've all been there! Tito will never judge your crazy driving, but he will definitely judge your sense of direction! This spirited pup is not a fan of loud noises (vacuums, running kids, seeing people roughouse, etc) so he'd prefer a nice, chill home please and thank you! While he slept in the same room as his humans, he has experience being crated and will use it every night or periodically throughout the day. At his prior home, he went to doggy daycare and enjoyed it, but every so often, he might bark "hello" to another dog he sees while on a walk. Tito does best with supervision and can't find wait to find the home of his dreams! He hopes it'll be you! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Tito Mellon Hugo Hero, you must fill out an adoption application. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
