Thank you!** 50% fluff, 50% floof, 100% love! Meet Dolly (or Dahlia) Princess Diann, a 5-year-old Sheep Dog / Poodle mix, who weighs 70 pounds (as of 2/4/26)! Dolly was previously adopted but realized that she'd much prefer to not share her meals, she is a princess after all! When she's not chewing toys or treats, Dolly loves going on walks, playing with big dogs, swimming, and riding in cars like she's in a parade. She loves pets and snuggles, so don't ever stop! No really. Don't stop! She's an easygoing girl who knows what she wants. Her previous home has worked with her on obedience training so now she can "sit" and "lie down." Dolly would be great in a home where the kids are older (like teens) and if there's another dog, ideally it'd be a big dog where both can enjoy their meals in separate rooms. Dolly likes to keep her own food close, so no family-style meals please! She also uses a crate for meals only. Like any spoiled princess, she enjoys sleeping in and is great in dog parks and with crowds. If you have a fenced in yard, even better! Dolly loves to enjoy strolling outside to say hello to the commoners. She currently has one broken tooth (not infected) and a small abdominal hernia that hasn't worsened. Previously, her foster shared: "Dolly Princess Diann is a loving and outgoing girl who is always ready to go for a walk! While she enjoys her walks, she also is more than happy to spend time hanging with her humans and being a couch potato. She has very poodly fur and doesn’t seem to shed at all. She has a wonderful personality and well socialized. She is very people centered (and so sweet with kids!) and loves being in the water! Princess Diann does show interest in cats, so would probably best if she found a cat-free home. She is crate trained, housebroken and walks well on leash. Princess Diann would make an excellent family dog!" All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Dolly Princess Diann, you must fill out an adoption application. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
