Jake
AvailableJake is a brown and chocolate medium-sized Norwegian Forest Cat/Calico mix with a short coat. He is an adult male, approximately 7 years and 11 months old, and he’s neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Jake is house trained and currently in Wilmington, NC. He does not have special needs but has a history that requires a steady feeding schedule as he continues his recovery.
About Jake
Jake survived a large-scale hoarding situation and came to Feline Matchmakers severely underweight. He’s been putting on pounds reliably and is showing no signs of illness, signaling that he’s ready for a more stable home. He’s accustomed to living with both dogs and other cats—his current foster home has both—and he interacts well with his brother, Brain. If you’ve got dogs, cats, or kids who know how to treat animals gently, Jake should fit in just fine. He needs a consistent meal schedule to continue regaining his health. At adoption, Jake will be up to date on vaccinations, neutered, tested, and microchipped. The rescue only adopts kittens or young cats within a one-hour radius of Wilmington, NC, and applicants must be over 21. If you don’t have another cat at home, kittens must be adopted in pairs. Exceptions for adult cats occasionally happen, but they won’t provide transport. Jake, born under the sign of Gemini, may have a curious or adaptable streak. Ready to meet your new best friend?
