Conrad and his brother, Jeremiah, landed in rescue with a rare eye condition, eyelid agenesis, which caused their eyelashes to grow inward. After waiting until he was big enough for corrective surgery—scheduled for April 16th—Conrad faced another hurdle: a suspected case of FIP. He’s nearly finished treatment now and vets expect a full recovery. Once Conrad wraps up his post-surgery bloodwork, he’ll be ready to go home. He’s already neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and handled anesthesia just fine during his previous procedure. While it would be great if Conrad and Jeremiah stayed together, it’s not a deal breaker. Conrad adapts easily—he gets along with kids, dogs, and other cats. Sunny windows and games of fetch are Conrad’s favorites. Please note: kittens and young cats from this rescue are only adopted within an hour of Wilmington, NC to applicants age 21 or older.
