Meet Dia — short for Diamond, and truly a special girl Dia is a young, medium-sized momma who recently raised a beautiful litter of puppies. With her puppies old enough for adoption, Dia is getting spoiled in a foster home of her own. Her personality is a lovely mix of calm affection and silly, playful moments. She’ll surprise you with bursts of goofiness then happily settle back in to relax nearby or join you for a cuddle when the mood strikes. Dia gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is potty and kennel trained, and is generally very quiet. She doesn’t bark, but she does have the cutest little whines, grunts, and groans — her way of chatting and showing her personality. She has that rare heart-dog quality: deeply loyal, intuitive, and loving without being demanding. Dia is ready to leave her tough beginnings behind and step into a life filled with comfort, love, and a family of her own. Dia is available through Animal Advocates of North Texas and is being fostered in Southlake. This pup will be totally vetted.
