Ernie is a 4-year-old, 7-lb sweetheart who’s all about cozy snuggles, gentle affection, and quiet companionship. Believed to be a chihuahua/terrier mix, he’s a calm, easygoing pup who’s quickly coming out of his shell. He loves sniffing on walks, cuddling close, and even started showing interest in play! One of his cutest quirks is that he likes you to hold his paws when you carry him. While he can be a little shy around new people at first, he quickly warms up and adores having someone nearby. Ernie is potty trained, loves lounging by your side, and is ready to blossom into a loyal, loving companion in a calm and patient home. With a little encouragement, this gentle boy is sure to steal your heart and become your favorite snuggle buddy. He is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
