About Bishop
Bishop was saved from a SoCal kill shelter as an owner surrender. But that's not his entire story. He had been surrendered to one shelter months before, adopted, returned, then transferred to another shelter. Any dog would be stressed with losing his family and then shuffled around the dangerous life of shelters. So we gave him time to adjust, know what it's like to be safe, learn great love, and settle into freedom. Now he's ready for his chance at forever. At his trial foster he did well with other dogs. His foster family is active duty Navy so they couldn't foster long-term, but we were able to bring him in full-time and let him continue his recovery with us. He's thriving with a long-term family. Bishop still needs time to trust people, because he knows abandonment. He likes playing with his chihuahua foster buddy Logan, and now plays alongside his bigger foster brothers that tower over him. With continued stability he'll be a great forever friend if he's just given the chance to show you how much he can love you forever. Please let us know if you're open to fostering or adopting this adorable little guy.
