Scooby Doo has come to OOTW after being "bumped" by a car on a rural county road after being dumped. Once we finally got him to trust us enough to come to us, he moved right in and hasn't looked back! We found no serious damage from his car strike, other than he has a hard spot on his left side which we are having looked at by the dogtor on February 5. Scooby is neutered and he will be going in for a rabies shot, heartworm test and a general exam on February 5 at which time we will update this bio. He weighs about 45 pounds and is just the right weight and size. He is loving, playful, great with other dogs and even cats! Scooby would be a great family pet and a he would fit in just right with a couple of kids! Car rides are not an issue with this boy as he loads right up and is ready to go and he does very well on a leash! He is currently living outdoors but we are working on getting him in a home where he can learn his crate training and be an inside dog too! Heck, he might be an inside dog, we just have not had a chance to get it all lined out just yet. Soon! Scooby is also a great watch dog and very aware of all that is going on. If something is out of place, he will sound the alarm. Scooby needs a home with a safe fenced area for outside time, as he is currently without a fence and he tends to wander. Again, we are working on a better place for this pup. We do know this, once you personally meet this handsome boy, you are going to fall in love! He's truly a sweetheart! Adoption fee is $150.
