About Frank
Click apply to start the adoption process. Frank is a large, loving German Shepherd Dog who has already shown an incredible amount of resilience after being abandoned in central Arkansas. When he was found, he approached a kind gentleman seeking food and water, demonstrating his trusting and grateful nature despite being covered in fleas and extremely hungry. Frank’s gentle spirit shone through, and he has continued to blossom with every bit of care and affection he receives. Now weighing 92 pounds, Frank is a true gentle giant! He’s currently participating in the Arkansas Paws in Prison Program, where he’s getting daily training and learning new commands. His journey hasn’t been easy—Frank is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment—but he’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. As a bonus fun fact, with a June birthday, Frank is a Gemini, known for being intelligent and adaptable! Frank is searching for a forever home where he can continue to thrive and finally receive the love and security he so deeply deserves. Please note that Frank is not good with cats, so he will do best in a home without feline friends. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
