About Sequoia
Meet Sequoia. This stunning three-year-old Cane Corso weighs about 100 pounds and embodies the loyalty and affection that this breed is known for. She thrives on attention and cherishes time spent with her family, quickly warming up to new individuals. Sequoia’s temperament is evident as she tolerates nail clippings and baths without fuss, showcasing her gentle nature. She was even a favorite at her previous shelter, a testament to her beautiful soul. While we haven’t witnessed certain behaviors in our care, Sequoia's previous owners noted some resource guarding tendencies with a young child and another Cane Corso. Given her size and breed traits, we seek an adult-only home without other pets, ideally one that understands large guardian breeds. This home would need to provide the structure and supervision that Sequoia requires. As with any newly adopted dog, allowing her some time to decompress and adjust to new expectations will be essential. Sequoia is loyal, loving, and ready for a fresh start. We also offer training for any approved adopters. If you think you could be the right fit for this beautiful girl, we would love to hear from you! Located in Youngstown, OH, applicants should ideally be within an hour of the area. Click apply to start the adoption process.
