About Little Bear

Little Bear came back to the rescue after slipping out and, unfortunately, his adopter chose not to reclaim him. Now resting in foster care, he’s finally getting the attention and consistency he's needed. At 8-9 years old, Little Bear is housebroken and prefers his own space—fair warning, he’s best as the only dog. Years haven’t stolen his sweet nature, and he genuinely appreciates people. Children over 10 do well with him since he’s a bit older and moves carefully. He has some arthritis, so he’s slow and stiff at times, but he still enjoys gentle walks and will surprise you with his enjoyment of a light jog. It’s clear Little Bear’s searching for a calm home to settle into and someone ready to give him the security he craves after all he's been through. Every Cancer has a big heart; Little Bear is no exception—his birthday means he’s naturally loyal and loving. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
