We’ve all seen the movie Finding Nemo, about the search to find a young clownfish after he goes missing. His friends and family cross the ocean and encounter a various cast of characters in their quest to bring Nemo home. Well, you don’t have to cross the ocean to find Nemo- you just have to travel across Tucson and go straight to Pima Animal Care Center!! Sweet pooch Nemo came to PACC in need of some medical care and received surgery to repair a fractured femur. He’s on the mend now and gets around great , but would really love to head to a real home! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said: “I cannot say enough good things about Nemo. I LOVE this boy. He is one of the sweetest dogs in the shelter and just wants love. I take him out often- he’s easy to leash and calm leaving the noisy kennel area. We often go to a play yard where Nemo’s main prerogative is to snuggle. He LOVES affection and cuddles and melts into you and has the most gentle, loving demeanor. He loves to show his belly for rubs and gently rests one paw on you to show you how much he enjoys being loved on. I would snatch this boy up in heartbeat if I didn’t have a full house already!!” Nemo has been described by shelter staff as a sweet and easygoing boy. He spent some time in a foster home where we learned that he did well with other dogs. He may do best in a home without young kiddos. Head to the shelter today to find Nemo!!
