Cosmo is a 5-year-old, 51-lb neutered blue Chow who is currently decompressing in foster care after being rescued from the shelter. Right now, Cosmo is doing exactly what thoughtful, sensitive dogs do — taking his time. He's observing his surroundings, settling into routine, and slowly letting his personality shine through. With each day, he shows more confidence and curiosity, revealing a dog with strong instincts, intelligence, and quiet presence. Cosmo finds comfort in toys and often self-soothes with squeaky noises. He gravitates toward calm, structured energy and appreciates an environment that feels predictable. Each morning, he does a full "perimeter check" inside and outside, making it clear that being aware of his surroundings — and protecting his space — comes naturally to him.
