About Stewie
Some dogs just tolerate people. Stewie leaves that in the dust. He embodies trust with every part of himself, so much that you find yourself wondering how he ended up so openhearted. His early life could have hardened him: chained and starving in a junkyard, hurt badly enough to need emergency surgery. But Stewie greets everyone like you’re the best thing that’s happened all week—wiggles, toe taps, and those joyful little squeaks. His greetings are full-on celebrations, like he’s surprised by how much he loves you every time you walk in. After the initial fireworks, Stewie transforms into a cuddle factory. He’ll press himself against you, twist his head around just to check you haven’t left, and, if you’re sitting, you instantly become his favorite target for kisses. He goes all-in showing affection, sometimes tossing in a gentle nibble just to be sure you get the message. Stewie only has one eye, but you always have his full attention. He isn’t a turn-key pet. Other animals stress him out—Stewie must be your one and only. He’s also rough on a leash; walking with him right now feels like being the sled in his own pulling race. But step inside our office and he’s a different dog: quiet, polite, and reliable. He uses the bathroom outside. Never chews up things he shouldn’t. You offer him food, not because he demands it, but because he asks with hope in his eyes. Put in a little patience and structure and you’ll get back more loyalty than most people ever find. Stewie is waiting to meet someone who’ll see what’s always been great about him. Stewie is located in Hampton, VA. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
