I am approximately two years old and weigh 45 pounds. I’m a smart, social, and affectionate girl who absolutely loves her people and is ready to find a forever family of my own. My journey hasn’t been easy. I was found wandering a neighborhood after losing my way, and I was hit by a car. Thankfully, some amazing humans believed I was worth saving. They scraped together every nickel they had to get me the surgery and care I needed. After surgery and rehab, I healed beautifully — and I am truly good as new! I’m an athletic, working-breed type of girl, and an active lifestyle isn’t optional for me — it’s a must! Couch potato life just isn’t in my DNA. I would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, adventures, and maybe even agility training (I’d love that!). I’m house trained, crate trained, walk well on leash, and I’ve already had some basic obedience training, so I know how to be a good canine citizen. I love being out and about, exploring the world with my people. I would do best in an adult-only home or one with older children, as I haven’t been around little kids before. I get along well with other dogs and would be happy to have some fur friends. I haven’t been around cats, so my people are saying no feline roommates please. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped — ready to go and ready to love.
