Meet Luna! Age: 7 yrs Breed: Terrier Blend Weight: 54lbs Gender: Spayed Female Experience Level: 1-2 Luna is a very sweet, submissive girl who is still trying to understand that she’s safe. Right now, she’s timid with hands and touch and will often cower in fear, so she’s looking for someone with a gentle heart who can offer patience, kindness, and reassurance while she learns to trust. She takes treats softly and carefully and shows no signs of food guarding. Toys are still a mystery to her, she doesn’t quite know what to do with them yet, which tells us she may not have had many chances to just be a dog. We do know Luna previously lived with at least one other dog, but she hasn’t gained enough confidence yet to join play group. With time and steady encouragement, we believe she’ll continue to come out of her shell. Luna would truly thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone who has a lot of love to give to a dog who isn’t quite sure what love looks like yet.
