About Nail Polish
Nail Polish, also called Poli or NP, is a 10-week-old American Bully pup with a big personality and even bigger heart. She started life abandoned on the streets of Detroit, found her way to safety, and is now looking for a real home. This little girl is currently around 8 pounds and is likely to grow into a strong, muscular adult. Despite being deaf and mostly blind, she navigates her environment with surprising skill—especially when zoomies kick in. She loves her toys, especially plushies to toss around, and she’s an absolute riot during tug-of-war sessions. Poli is excitable during play but settles down into a sweet cuddle buddy once she’s done. She does best with tolerant, playful dogs and would thrive with another rough-and-tumble playmate. Very small dogs are likely not a great fit. NP is still learning the difference between friends and toys, so a home without cats is preferred, though with ongoing training, peaceful co-existence is possible. Food is a big motivator for her—sometimes she gets a little too enthusiastic, but there’s no resource guarding so far. Because of her disabilities, NP needs an adopter committed to touch-signal communication and willing to keep working on her social skills. She’s available for adoption in South East Michigan.
