About Zeus

Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet handsome Zeus, a lovable Rottweiler who arrived at the shelter after his owner's illness made it impossible for them to continue caring for him. Alongside his housemate, Blockka, Zeus experienced a lot of love in his former home, and it shines through in his affectionate personality. While Zeus is incredibly sweet and enjoys endless snuggles and belly rubs, he does have a playful side and tends to play a bit rough. Although Zeus reportedly did well with Blockka, attempts to reunite them have not been successful. As a result, Zeus will need to be adopted as an only dog. He walks nicely on a leash, is eager to please, crate trained, and well-mannered in the home. Zeus can be a bit rough when taking treats and shows some guarding tendencies around his food bowl, so it is best that he not be adopted to a home with children, and he should be fed in his crate for safety.
