About Travis
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Travis — 75 lbs. of pure love and goofy charm! This playful 3-year-old Rottweiler/Pit Bull Terrier mix was rescued just in time and has been winning over hearts ever since. Travis is sweet, silly, and brimming with personality; you’ll love his clumsy zoomies and endless curiosity, as he brings laughter and companionship to any household. Travis is housebroken, crate trained, and well-mannered at home. He’s incredibly affectionate, leaning in for hugs and relishing in belly rubs. This smart and treat-motivated boy already knows basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and has mastered crate time. He walks well on a leash but would benefit from more reinforcement—especially with tempting squirrels around! With a medium to high energy level, Travis thrives in a yard but will also enjoy long daily walks. He can entertain himself playing with toys or chewing on a bone, and he’s always up for a car ride (even if he’s still learning not to crawl into the driver’s lap!). Travis is good with older children—having met kids, he was sweet but a bit excitable—and is dog-friendly, especially enjoying the company of female dogs. He has so much love and loyalty to give and just needs a home ready to embrace his big, playful heart and help him keep growing into the best companion. If you want a loving, devoted pup with a cheerful spirit, Travis may be just who you’ve been looking for. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
